New solutions, new faces, wider networks and wider world

19.12.2023

2023 has been quite a year for Simplebim. They say time waits for no one and the same can certainly be said for the tech sector.

It’s been a year of growth, a year of innovation, a year where we’ve felt increased momentum behind our revolutionary BIM data wrangling software.

Here are some of our biggest highlights…

New solutions

We can’t kick-off our annual round-up without mentioning our biggest achievement of the year, the launch of Simplebim 10.

The newest version of our BIM data wrangling software, Simplebim 10 is jam-packed with new features to enable standardised and enriched BIM data in a centralised and automated way.

Features such as colourize, which makes BIM models easier to read, and our next generation quantity-calculation tool, allowing easier and more accurate QTO, have really aided us in our mission of making BIM more accessible to all.

To show off Simplebim 10 to its best effect we’ve also redesigned our website, making it even easier to find resources and access support, enabling you to make the best use of our tools.

New faces

We welcomed two new faces in 2023. Our newest team member Annalisa Quaglietta has just joined us as our Network Development Manager. Trained as a civil engineer, Annalisa brings a wealth of experience from business development in international contexts, combined with a proven track record in the construction field.

And in September we were joined by Gio Siradze as our new Customer Support Manager. Previously Head of Services at a BIM software distribution company, Gio has a vast amount of experience in computer-aided design, BIM software, and IT solutions making him a valuable asset for enhancing Simplebim’s support services.

Wider networks

We’re proud of our network of partners who are as dedicated to helping customers maximize the benefits of BIM as we are. Over the past 12 months that network has grown to include CADexpert NET, Overzicht and ModulusBIM

We’ve also worked with some amazing new customers who have been kind enough to share their experience of working with us. Thank you to BAM Belgium, Zech Bau, BIMSKY and Kardham Group

We’re looking to expand our reseller network even further, so if you’re a construction tech consultancy that wants to benefit from access to cutting-edge BIM technology, the opportunity to expand your product portfolio and revenue streams, and training and support from the team here at Simplebim, fill out the form on our ‘Become a reseller’ page to get started.

Wider world

We’re done our fair share of travelling in 2023, representing Simplebim, discussing innovations in BIM and the wider built environment, as well as tackling the future of the construction industry.

Most recently we attended BIM World Munich and were thrilled with the positive feedback we received at our booth. People were genuinely interested in the demos we presented, highlighting BIM Data Wrangling, Simplebim Cloud and the basics of Simplebim.

Other highlights include the Tech Show for Construction in Paris, alongside our partner CADatWork and customer Kardham Group. Not to mention the Finnish – German BIM Seminar ‘Shaping the future of the Build Environment through BIM’ in Berlin.

Judging by the inspiring people we met along the way the future of digital construction looks bright.

If you want to be part of that bright future with Simplebim, either as a customer or partner, get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Applied BIM Data Science: How to unlock exponential value from BIM data

In the modern construction industry, data is as essential as the raw materials used in building. Just as we transform any raw material into high-value products, we need to approach data with the same mindset to unlock its full potential. This concept of a scalable and efficient data value chain...
