Partner Profile: ModulusBIM – using quality information to create strong collaboration

21.07.2023

Joining the Simplebim partner network as our first reseller in Australia and New Zealand, ModulusBIM is a BIM consultancy whose ethos centers around using accurate and quality information to create strong collaborative relationships with clients.

ModulusBIM’s services range from information management and validation to model enrichment and training.

We spoke to ModulusBIM’s founder Egils Bernovskis about the company’s projects and clients, and how he hopes to add value as a Simplebim reseller.

SB: So, tell us more about ModulusBIM

Egils: With a focus on the use of open standards and model information reliability ModulusBIM supports a range of clients, projects, and stages.

We have a background in working with principal contractors in project delivery and business improvement, which means we’re used to resolving construction delivery challenges.

One of these challenges is the varied quality of information upstream, hence the need for standardized information in models.

How does Simplebim complement your service offering?

Egils: Project roles such as planning and cost estimation are often confined to traditional ways of working due to poor model information quality. This means opportunities are often missed.

With Simplebim’s unique combination of validation, issue management, and information standardization, we’ll be able to unlock BIM use cases for our clients while improving upstream information outputs that are often time consuming.

Simplebim’s automation and reporting offers the ability to adopt a standardized solution on a project and scale it across a client’s entire organisation.

SB: What are you most looking forward to about being a Simplebim partner?

Egils: Becoming a Simplebim partner is a fantastic opportunity for ModulusBIM to improve our service by sharing our existing clients’ needs with the Simplebim team.

We’re also looking forward to the opportunity to meet new clients and demonstrate how ModulusBIM can help them resolve their challenges.

SB: And in a nutshell, how would you describe Simplebim?

Egils: Generally speaking, if you put garbage in, you get garbage out. But with Simplebim’s standardization and enrichment capabilities, even if you put poor information in, you’ll get usable and accurate information out.
