Simplebim: Tell us about the type of customers HABRA works with.

HABRA supports over 1,000 customers who use Archicad as their authoring tool. These include architects, small and large design offices, and construction companies. Our customers’ main focus is on building design. Regular discussions have shown that the topic of OpenBIM is becoming increasingly important.

SB: How does Simplebim complement your service offering?

We often face the challenge where our customers receive unclean IFC models, which need further processing. Although Archicad offers excellent IFC export and import capabilities, Simplebim can function as a complement: On the one hand, to refine IFC data, and on the other hand, to clean up the received data.

With Simplebim, we want to offer our customers a solution for IFC data preparation in the future.

SB: What kind of services do you offer?

Our training program will be expanded by offering courses for Simplebim.

SB: Can you give us an example of how Simplebim makes BIM more accessible?

With its easy navigation and user-friendly interface, Simplebim helps prepare IFC data in a clean way. It helps our customers to make sure that IFC models are processed and enriched exactly where it’s needed. For construction companies, Simplebim and its integrated Bimsheet simplify data evaluation.

SB: What are you most looking forward to as a Simplebim reseller?

Working together with the Simplebim team: it’s professional yet has a very family-like atmosphere. Most important, we can offer our customers a professional solution to overcome the challenges in the BIM process.

SB: What inspired you to become a Simplebim reseller?

We constantly find ourselves frustrated with the quality of BIM data we receive. Even in competitions, the data provided is sometimes terrible.

When we met the Simplebim team at BIM-World Munich, it became immediately clear that Simplebim can easily solve many issues.

SB: What are you most looking forward to as a Simplebim partner?

We see Simplebim as a perfect complement to our existing software products. The connection between Archicad as an authoring product and Simplebim as IFC editing and processing software is a harmonious fit.
