Our clients are professionals in the AEC industry: architects and engineering consultants, but also an increasing number of facility managers and construction companies.
Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, we have also been growing a strong presence in Germany for several years and now run a training centre in Ulm.
How does Simplebim complement your range of services? / What kind of services do you offer?
We speak and understand BIM. We sell software for the AEC industry and provide training for these software products. We also teach BIM at various levels, from beginner to certified buildingSMART courses.
In addition to training, we advise architectural firms on complex BIM projects and BIM management. We have helped many clients to become BIM.fit®, empowering them in the BIM method and improving their workflows.
Simplebim helps us to open the door to everyone involved in architectural projects who isn’t an architect. We love Jiri Hietanen’s idea of not overwhelming architects with BIM information requirements, giving them more freedom to focus on their design and create a working, deliverable IFC model. Complementing partners can then – thanks to Simplebim – add all the necessary BIM information to the model(s).
Can you give us an example of how Simplebim is making BIM more accessible? / What are you most excited about being a Simplebim reseller?
People are often intimidated by IFC models. With Simplebim, we finally have a software product that allows everyone involved in the BIM process to access and work with the models and data, without overburdening designers and architects with too many requirements that are not part of their natural role and focus.
With every interested customer and their ideas and use cases, we are learning many exciting new perspectives on the data wrangling.
